I barely made the Halloween deadline to get this sucker up on the porch! She's a jumbo too!

From the episode "Lesson Zero" that aired this month for MLP:FiM, this image just screamed out to be placed on a pumpkin! The moment alone of these eyeless shadows' laughs echoing across the hills was pretty bizarre.

I accidentally also made some 3D shots and took footage if anyone's a fan of stereoscopic photos.

Forgot to mention! Extra shading enhancements were with Liquitex acrylic paint. A touch of deep red, cad yellow and forest green to get that real pumpkiney tone, black on the silhouettes.

The black parts are the paint. I'd seen it done and had to try painting on for once.

I was thinking about doing a design like this on my pumpkin for halloween this year, I was going to do Nightmare moon, Fits with Halloween, But idk what materials are needed and how can I make it glow if it's painted.

The black is paint. Hmm. I can try, I don't think it might work, but it looks awesome.

I cut them away, but I also painted them black on top of doing that just to get another level of dark the camera wouldn't pick up.

Everyone does nightmare moon's head in the moon, so deviate from the norm, I suggest, to make your creative carve stand out from the rest. See my main journal post about methods. I figure everyone could use this info instead of it getting lost here between you and I. :)

Can I have the link to the Main journal please, I will try, but this isn't the moon one, this is actually Nightmare moons head with the stars in her hair carved and the others cut away, I will try my best of course to make it stand out, but I ain't going to take a picture of it. My drawing is bad, so I think that the night mare moon might turn out bad.

Or I might do My OC with her coltfriend. So it wont be too hard.
